The Importance of the Pricing Mindset by JoAnn Roberts

Just as a marketing mindset is related to value, so does a proper pricing mindset relate to your home’s value.  Pricing does not stand by itself.  It is important to understand the relationship between pricing and marketing, pricing and networking, pricing and staging, pricing and negotiating, and pricing and experience.  You may think that buyers determine the ultimate sales price, but with my expertise, I am the one person who will have the most direct influence on the final price of your home!
If you are getting ready to sell your home, news reports of slower home sales may not sound encouraging.  The good news? You are not competing with the entire world – you are only competing with your neighbors!

To sell your house for the best price, you must show Buyers that your property offers better value than the other properties competing in the community in the same price range.

Many home sellers are tempted to start their home sale with the highest listing price they could hope to get.  Unfortunately this is a mistake for today’s seller because today’s buyers see everything on their smart phone and are very savvy about home values.
